UTec Intros Colido 3D Printer for Educational Sector

Union Technology International (MCO) Co. Ltd.(UTec), the master global distributor of Print-Rite, expanded Print-Rites’ Colido 3D printer to colleges and universities globally, according to 3D Printing Industry.

In Bangladesh, UTec worked with its local distributor, MRF Trading Company, to provide Colido 3D printers to the education sector. Also, the printers were displayed at the opening ceremony for the first 3D print lab of Bangladesh University.  Dr Kaykobad, Professor and Head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Bangladesh University said, “Colido 3D printers can fuel limitless creativity when students get to see.”

n addition to the Bangladesh deal, UTec has also formalized an arrangement for its Colido 3D printers to be used at the design center of Zhuhai City Polytechnic (ZHCPT), China. It is said that the 3D printers will be a central part of the educational program at the faculty. Mr Lui, Deputy Headmaster of Zhuhai City Polytechnic noted, “In order to encourage students to apply 3D printing technology, a 3D design competition will be held here shortly.”
