As reported by patch.com, Chris Murphy, the U.S. Senator for Connecticut has declared Flo-Tech of Middletown as “Murphy’s Monday Manufacturer” this week.

The “Murphy’s Monday Manufacturer” is an award given to manufacturers who have made outstanding contributions to the state of Connecticut. Flo-Tech was founded in 1992 and had conducted its business in Connecticut for 25 years. It currently employs 73 Connecticut workers and has offered them a generous welfare program as part of their salary package.

Chris Murphy said, “I know how important Connecticut’s manufacturing industry is to our state’s workers and families. That’s why I’m doing everything I can to make sure that the federal government prioritizes the purchase of American-made products—like Flo-Tech’s remanufactured printer cartridges—over products made by foreign competitors.”
