UK Cartridge Recycler Obtains New Standards

An empties broker that collects empty ink and toner cartridges for recycling in southeast England has been awarded two quality certifications this month.

Having grown from a small cartridge collection business and now certified by ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001:2015, BCMY Ltd has been one of the prominent recyclers of ink and toner cartridges in Europe since 2002. It owns the unique “Zero Waste recycling service” and offers a ‘cradle to grave’ solution for ink and toner cartridge waste.

The company claims it has always been committed to high quality cartridges and outstanding recycling services for customers.

Jeremy Gilchrist, Operations Director of BCMY, said, “We are extremely proud of our team and their efforts to attain the ISO 9001:2015 & ISO14001:2015 certification. It means that quality is not just a concept, but a reality. Our policies and procedures document that, but our people show it in how they work – and particularly in how they engage with our customers.”
