Two Respondents in Canon Case Plan to Shut down

Two British companies named in Canon’s European lawsuits, are expected to shut down.

According to The Recycler dot com, European Cartridge Warehouse and Printer Supplies Technology have filed for dissolution.

Canon claims both companies, run by the same person, imported and sold infringing toner cartridges for use in various HP printers.

Both companies have now filed a striking off application, with the company registration office, in the UK.

This means the owner expects his companies to be deleted from the business register, shut down and all remaining assets handed over to the government.

Other companies in Europe are also being pursued by Canon for patent infringement, including Seine, Aster, KMP and Zephyr SAS.
