Two New Color MFPs Released

With the efforts to update their office multifunction printer (MFP) range, Konica Minolta has released color bizhubs C308 and C368 following the earlier launch of their monochrome bizhubs.

Konica Minolta claims the new machines are designed to fit into new tablet-based office workflows, featuring NFC function and Airprint, which make it easier for smartphone and tablet users to print to and scan from the copier without having to return to a fixed work station. The environmental credentials of the new bizhubs have been further improved, with energy consumption down from 1.3W to only 0.3W (if no wakeup-on-fax is required) without sacrificing the TEC values.

Finishing and other options remain similar but this model provides an option for finger-vein scanning, so as to retain the high-end security fulfilment promised by Konica Minolta.

The new range continues to be constructed from reused plastics and the familiar white and black look with a tablet-style navigation interface as the previous two generations.
