Stop the Ink Cartridges Imports

The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) has issued a seizure and forfeiture order against a Florida-based company following their attempts to import ink cartridges with printheads and components that violate the General Exclusion Order (GEO) related to the 337-TA-723 investigation.

The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (“Customs”) denied entry of such articles from Compu-Imaging into the United States and informed the USITC. In response, as is the regular practice, the USITC decides on the whether or not to issue seizure and forfeiture orders based on the documentation it receives from Customs. Copy of the seizure and forfeiture order has been provided to RT Media.
