Solid Performance in Fourth Quarter of 2016
A global leading manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors and fragrances has released its financial reports of the fourth quarter in 2016.
According to inkworldmagazine.com, the whole revenue of Sensient Technologies (Sensient) in Q4 of 2016 was US$330.2 million, reducing US$9 million in comparison with the same period of 2015. Its operating income has seen a year-on-year increase of US$11.7 million.
In Q4 of 2016, the revenue of the Color Group of Sensient was US$119 million, raising 1.3% in comparison with the same period of 2015. The Flavors & Fragrances Group has reported a year-on-year decrease of US$14.1 million in Q4 of 2016.
The revenue of the Asia and Pacific Group of Sensient has witnessed a year-over-year increase about 9% to US$32.5 million.
Paul Manning, the chairman, president and CEO of Sensient said, “The Color Group had an outstanding year delivering solid profit and revenue growth. The Flavors and Fragrances Group performed very well and improved its operating margin by at least 100 basis points in each of the last three quarters, and Asia Pacific also delivered solid profit and revenue growth for the year.”
