Software Saving 75% of Toner Consumption Launched in India

IT services firm Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic (HSMC) introduced a toner-saving technology in India which helps corporation to cut down printing costs.

As reported by Technuter.com, HSMC will license, sublicense and distribute this printing software to its end customers in India as well as offer free customer support, maintenance release and version up support.

This Windows based software called TonerSaver uses patented printer driver algorithms to control the toner and ink usages on printers. It works between the application requesting printing and the printer driver. The software captures the entire print data and delivers the cost-optimized printed documents without lowering the printing quality. This software, saving up to 75% of toner consumption, is developed and owned by SPLINE NETWORK INC, a Japanese print solutions provider.

“We have introduced TonerSaver in 920 companies so far and granted 1.12 million licenses,” said Yoichi Yukino, President & CEO – Spline Network. “We are very excited to bring TonerSaver to India in partnership with Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic, who will help distribute this technology throughout the country.”
