Ricoh Unveils New A3 Color Printer

Responding directly to customers asking for an affordable A3 color printer, Ricoh Americas Corporation unveiled the RICOH Aficio SP C730DN, which immediately becomes the A3 color printer with the lowest cost of ownership and one of the smallest footprints in the industry. It also introduces LED printing technology to Ricoh’s robust line of industry-leading printers and multifunction products (MFPs) that give users from corporate environments down to the home office the tools to transform the way they work. The RICOH Aficio SP C730DN is also Ricoh’s first LED printer, making it compact, reliable and quiet.

The innovative LED architecture gives the 32-ppm device a smaller size and increased reliability, as well as 1200×1200 dpi resolution without compromising speed. Its 19-x-20-x-14-inch dimensions make the RICOH Aficio SP C730DN a desktop printer as opposed to the far-more-expensive console machines in the A3 class.

“We’re serving the many customers who require A3 printing ability but don’t want to pay for a high-speed, high-volume device or a wide range of finishing options,” said Jason Dizzine, Vice President, Technology Marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation. “Until now, they haven’t had a solution. This device fills that hole in the market, and we’re looking forward to helping many delighted, productive customers.”
