Ricoh Speeds Up Expansion in Turkey

Ricoh announced that Ricoh Turkey Baski Cozumleri Limited Sirketi (Ricoh Turkey) has acquired Ofisteknik A.S. and Ofisteknik Ltd. (Ofisteknik). Under the mutual agreement, the business and certain of the assets of Ofisteknik will be purchased by Ricoh Turkey. Through the acquisition, Ricoh aims to extend its team in Turkey to transform the business document processes of its office clients as well as work closely with local production printing enterprises.

Akira Oyama, CEO of Ricoh Europe says, “We are excited to be expanding our services for the office and production printing businesses in Turkey. Our expansion also provides more opportunities for us to enhance the relationships with our distribution partners in Turkey as they grow the products and services they are providing to their clients. The large appetite for new digital technologies allows Ricoh and its partners to contribute to growing the overall market in Turkey for digital office and production printing solutions. ”

Production printing customers as well as office clients will gain more access to Ricoh’s leading products and services portfolio such as managed document services, IT services and outsourcing services.

Currently, the agreement is awaiting approval of the Turkish Competition Board.Board.
