Ricoh Snaps Up Multi-Million Dollar Managed Print Services Business

Ricoh has picked up a contract to provide managed print services business to software firm Vakrangee Limited, in India.

According to the Economic Times, Ricoh reported in a regulatory filing, “Ricoh India Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding with Vakrangee Limited for inter alia providing state-of-the-art managed print services (MPS) to Vakrangee Limited.”

The contract is worth Rs400 crore (US$60.4 million), and will run for five years. According to IDC, Ricoh leads the copier based laser market, with a market share of 25.18 per cent in the first half of 2015.
