Ricoh Expects Retain 55% Revenue Growth

Ricoh is confident it is on track to see a 55 to 60% growth in revenue this year in India.

According to The Hindu BusinessLine, Managing Director and CEO Manoj Kumar (pictured) is counting on projects under the Digital India Campaign and remote business operations. He spoke to the gathered media during the launch of Ricoh’s new multifunction printer series.

In the last fiscal year, the Ricoh India reported revenue of ₹1,637 crore (US$249.3 million). “I don’t see any reason for this growth momentum to slowdown. From a ₹300-crore (US$45.6 million) company in 2010-11, it has grown by over five times in size,” Kumar explained.

Ricoh India, which is part of the US$18.5 billion Japanese Ricoh Group is participating in tenders worth nearly ₹5,000 crore (US$761.6 million) under the Digital India program. This includes wide-area, state-wide-area, and health and education sector projects.
