Replacement Chips for New Samsung Printers Released

Apex Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (Zhuhai, China) launched replacement chips for Samsung CLT- K/M/C/Y 405S Series Cartridges.

According to Apex, the new chips, with more stable performance, employ SOC (system on chip) technology and feature greater durability against firmware upgrade. The company said the product is the first of its kind and Apex “has once again demonstrated its experience in chip domain and its profound technical backup against OEM firmware upgrades”.

As disclosed, Samsung released several color laser printer models in July, including A4 SFPs SL-C422/422W/420W/423/423W, and A4 MFPs SL-C472/472W/472FW/470W/C470FW/473/473W/473F. Printers with a monochrome print speed of 16 ppm target home consumers and small enterprises. The Samsung CLT-K/M/C/Y 405S Series cartridges for these new printers are the updated version of the CLT-K/M/C/Y 406S Series cartridge. The latter is used in the following Samsung printers: CLP-360/362/ 363/364/365/365W/367W/368, CLX-3300/3302/3303/3303FW/3304/3305/3305W/3305FW/3305FN/3307FW, SL-C463W/SL-C413W, etc.
