Xerox Releases New MFPs

On April 16, Xerox released the XeroxColorQube® 9300 color multifunction printers (MFPs). This new series will use ConnectKey, which is a software system embedded in Xerox’s MFPs and contains a set of solutions to simplify the working process.

The ColorQube 9300 ConnectKey MFPs include the industry’s first embedded security protection from McAfee. It provides IT managers more control in “bring your own device” (BYOD) workplaces. These MFPs also have an extra layer of security with Cisco’s TrustSec for extra data protection.

These new devices aim to give consumers more affordable methods in color printing and new working ways. By paying only for the amount of color, ColorQube 9300 devices can help companies to cut their color print costs in half. By using Solid Ink sticks, this collection avoids cartridges and packaging, and creates up to 90 percent less waste compared with other laser devices.

Further, the new MFPs can print and copy at speeds of 55 pages per minute (ppm) in color, 60 ppm in black and white and scan 60 impressions per minute in color.
