Record Crowds, Record Exhibits, Latest Technologies

Exhibitors and visitors alike have applauded the 9th RemaxWorld Expo and Summit in Zhuhai China displaying the latest solutions for the print consumables industry.

13,938 unique visitors from 86 countries, plus 3,218 exhibitor staff from 27 countries visited the 30,000 sqm fair—covering the same area as 5 football fields placed side by side.

The opening Ceremony, Awards Night, Summit and Print-Rite Cup used the latest in giant LED screen technology (pictured) allowing for colorful animations like never before. Speakers at the summit were amazed and affirmed at the high use of mobile phones and tablets to copy information portrayed on the giant screens.

13 industry awards were presented to OEM and Aftermarket companies, organisations and individuals from North America, South America, Asia and Europe.

Scores of OEMs attended the Expo. Among them was Andrew Gardner, Lexmark’s Worldwide Brand Protection Manager. According to Gardner the Show and the Summit went very well. “It appeared to be quite busy this year and there were more international attendees than before.”

US-based E-commerce guru, Ian Elliot blogged, “Of the three observations I made from attending the RemaxWorld Expo and Summit, the most notable was the remarkable atmosphere of innovation, enthusiasm and optimism—much like the bustle and energy of the US-based World Expo, 15-20 years ago.”

US based “Big Box” stationery suppliers also travelled from the USA to China to attend the show.

Three prominent companies, each with a global footprint, have told RT Media, the organisers of RemaxWorld Expo not only will they book large exhibits for 2016, but they will also hold their international distributor and senior management meetings at the same time as the show, in Zhuhai next year. Cartridge World’s new global CEO, Steve Weedon (USA) is requesting a leading position booth for 2016. “I just wanted to acknowledge that you had a resounding success with this year’s show. Congratulations to you and your team on pulling off another record and industry milestone.”

Summit Speaker John Marshall (UK) has pledged to speak and write more for RT Media in the future. “Thank you,” he said. “There is no doubt that RT Media owns the industry Expo and publishing space, worldwide. You run an extremely professional organisation with the excellent and professional people you have there.”

Pankaj Chawla (India) from IDC, one of the world’s largest research organizations with primary focus in IT services, said, “I take this opportunity to congratulate you for the grand event. I am also thankful for including us as a part of the event and looking forward for a long association with you.” His associate Maggie Tan (Malaysia) said she was among the hundreds who attended RemaxWorld Expo and Summit for the first time. “It’s very impressive. We are writing an IDC Event Flash on the RemaxWorld Expo to be published soon on idc.com.” OCP Inks’ Carsten Edelmeier (Germany), said “I am riding with you and looking forward to present on inks again wherever you want me to.”

CMYK Industry’s Patrick Naude (South Africa) said he was humbled by the enormity and the extent of business opportunities at the event.  “What a mind blowing experience it has been to be part of the biggest Non-OEM event of its kind in our industry.”
