Pantum Names Merlion Official Distributor in Kazakhstan

According to a Channel EMEA report, Merlion will be responsible for distributing the full range of Pantum printers in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Channel EMEA is a brand new content portal for channel professionals working within the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) ICT, and consumer electronics (CE) channels.

Said Christophe Bechade, Pantum’s General Manager for CIS, Central and Eastern Europe, “Our cooperation with Merlion will enable us to provide extensive innovation models of printers and multifunction printers. These products contain unique features offering a lower total cost, fast performance and better value. We hope that end users and Merlion partners can gain benefits from Pantum’s brand.”

Merlion claims it is Russia’s largest distributor. Ms. Victoria Tarantino, Merlion’s Director of Business Development in Central Asia and the Caucasus, added: “Becoming the official distributor of Pantum in Kazakhstan gives us a great responsibility to promote its products in this region. We expand our product portfolio and obtain new distribution rights. Also, we are launching new financial and marketing services.”

The Pantum brand from Seine Technologies launched worldwide in late 2011, released products in Israel and India. This printer brand will also have releases in the US through LD Products and in the UK through Spicers.

Merlion expanded into Kazakhstan in 2011 and quickly gained its position as a significant in-country channel supplier.
