Pantum Increases Printer Sales in US

Pantum International Limited, a subsidiary of the Ninestar Group of companies in Zhuhai, China, has added more distributors for sales of its printers and supplies in the United States.

American Toner & Ink Corporation, which sells office supplies and consumables, promises to enable increases in supply sales. The Pompano Beach, FL, company will lease the Pantum P2000 desktop laser printer for a dollar per year, in a deal coupled with Pantum cartridge sales. Under the lease agreement, customers must first buy three toner cartridges before the lease goes into effect. Alternately, the Pantum printer may be purchased if the customer prefers an outright sale to a lease agreement.

Pantum monochrome laser printers are also now available at other selected U.S-based online resellers. LD Products (Long Beach, CA), for example, was the first to offer the Pantum printers and their supplies in the United States. The firm now sells the products at its own sites and via its partnerships with Amazon and Newegg.

Changing its distribution model enhanced distribution of Pantum in the United States. Channel partners had to import by container load before. But, earlier this year, Ninestar brought in Pantum printers so it can sell and ship them to retailers in smaller quantities.
