OPI Breaks Record Following Climb of Life

OPI’s CEO, Steve Hilleard, has personally thanked RT Media for its support in raising a record £27,614 towards the overall total of £103,000 (US$135,000) in the fight against cancer.

Office Products International Ltd (OPI) joined 100 others from the UK office supplies industry to conquer some of England’s most challenging peaks to raise money for the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR).

“Last Friday, myself and a small group of OPI colleagues, together with around 90 UK office products industry personnel, gathered in the UK’s mountainous Lake District for the 30th annual Climb of Life (COL) event,” Hilleard wrote. “I am delighted that team OPI was, again, the lead corporate fundraiser and of course immensely grateful for your extraordinary and generous support of this wonderful initiative.”

Once a tough couple of days were over for the climbers, COL organiser Graeme Chapman MBE was able to present a cheque for £103,280 to Professor Paul Workman, CEO of ICR.

Next year’s COL is provisionally scheduled for Friday 2 November 2018.
