OKI Data Americas Intros A3 Color MFP

OKI Data Americas announced introduction of the new ES8473 color multifunction device (MFP) to the BTA channel. Featuring standard print, copy, scan and fax functionality, and available in three different configurations – one desktop (ES8473 MFP) and two floor-standing models (ES8473c MFP/ES8473x MFP), this compact and robust device produces professional documents quickly and affordably, and is ideal for small to mid-sized workgroups. The ES8473 MFP offers a unique value proposition with its small footprint paired with the capability to produce A3/tabloid size output. It is designed for end-users seeking the flexibility to produce wide format output, and is a cost-effective alternative to larger, more expensive devices.

The ES8473 MFP offers a series of valuable features combined with low operating costs, including:

  • Standard print, copy, scan and fax functionality
  • Media handling up to 11” x 17” sheets and stock up to 256 gsm
  • Speeds up to 35 ppm/cpm in color and mono[1]
  • Time to first page output as fast as 9.5 seconds1
  • A seven inch color, tilting touchscreen display
  • Color scanning with send-to functionality
  • Standard duplex printing capability
  • 100 sheet duplex reversing automatic document feeder (RADF) that scans both sides
  • Optional wireless LAN connectivity

  • Compatible with mobile printing applications
  • Secure print encryption for confidential documents

The ES8473 MFP will use the latest open API iteration of the smart Extendable Platform (sXP) to support OKI’s printing solution offerings such as print management, document capture and document management solutions beginning in summer 2015. This new platform will offer additional functionality for developers to build unique solution applications for the OKI smart MFPs.
