OKI Appoints New Distributor in New Zealand
OKI, has announced Dove Electronics as its new distributor of business printers and multifunction devices in New Zealand.
The partnership will give Dove Electronics access to the full range of OKI products and consumables. Meanwhile, OKI will provide Dove marketing support, hands-on technical training, online training via OKI Academy, and trip incentives, as it does with its other global distribution partners.
Tom Nelson, Product Manager at Dove Electronics, said, “We’re putting a major focus on growing our print business this year and OKI as a brand fits in well with this strategy. OKI is a highly respected brand with a very loyal customer base. This speaks volumes about its quality of product. Unique flagship technologies such as its white toner offering, the superb colour reproduction of the range and the use of LED technology make for a differentiated and innovative product offering that complements the Dove range.”
“Another critical market advantage in working with OKI is that they also have a good presence in the graphic design and industrial printer markets which typically require high quality, resilient machines. We’ll be aiming to shore up our experience in these markets so that we can truly maximise the business opportunity,” added Nelson.
Greg Mikaelian, Oceanic Sales Manager of OKI Data Australia & New Zealand, said, “We look forward to building a mutually beneficial business. We are investing in the channel and committed to helping our partners through joint marketing efforts, sales and support. Dove Electronic’s successful go-to-market strategies within the reseller community will be an invaluable asset to OKI as we continue to expand the role of our channel program in supporting our company’s growth.
Dove Electronics distributes a comprehensive range of IT products and provides sales and support services to a broad customer base throughout New Zealand from three locations in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
