OKI appoints country manager to boost NZ momentum

Based in Auckland, Koefoed will be responsible for propelling market deployment of OKI solution offerings across New Zealand and managing a team of resellers for ongoing customer service and support.

Koefoed joins OKI with more than 20 years of sales, management and product marketing experience in the New Zealand IT market. He was previously at Fuji Xerox New Zealand where he initially joined the company as General Manager for the company’s printer channel before being promoted to Strategic Sales Manager.

Prior, he was Managing Director of Laser Plus where he managed and directed a team of marketing, sales and implementation staff in supporting managed office printing solutions for some of New Zealand’s leading corporate and government customers.

Koefoed has also worked in senior marketing management and business development roles for Onesource and U-Bix Document Solutions.

Alex Kawamura, Managing Director for OKI Data Australia and New Zealand, said, “We are delighted to have Bruce on board with the team in New Zealand. He joins OKI at a time when our customers need solutions and support to help them stay ahead in an age of digital transformation. His knowledge and experience will be critical to OKI’s growth and success in the region”.

OKI announced a direct presence in New Zealand three years ago and has a reseller network providing sales and technical support to customers throughout the country.
The company has also sponsored the OKI 24-hour sailing race on Lake Pupuke on Auckland’s North Shore for the past 25 years.
