Novel Printers Released by Konica Minolta

Konica Minolta has launched a series of color & monochrome multifunctional printers designed with multi-touch functionality.

The OEM claims its bizhub range, which will appeal to small to medium business environments for being more productive, versatile and energy-saving, include the 165e/185e, 206/226, 227/287/367, C227, and C368 / C308/ C258 range of printers.

Their new features include:

1. compact & light weight;

2. simple operability through one touch buttons;

3. ability to print from anywhere, anytime with the most advanced wireless, mobile and cloud computing;

4. advanced security features like authentication on the MFP main unit, IC card authentication, biometric authentication, TPM (Trusted Platform Module) etc. to protect precious information;

Konica Minolta says its bizhub series is also environmentally friendly because approximately 51% of the printer’s main body is made from recycled materials: PC/ABS and biomass plastic.

Bizhub PRO 1100

Konica Minolta has also released a monochrome production printer called the bizhub PRO 1100, with the following four features:

1. new applications and functions;

2. faster turnaround time;

3. a colour scanner;

4. a flexible Open API interface;

Other features include its ability for high-volume and easy handling of extensive mixed-media jobs:

1. a maximum paper capacity of 9,000 sheets in five cassettes;

2. a new bypass tray MB-507;

3. a genuine resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi;

4. unique screening technology;

5. customized tone curve adjustments for a tone curve utility.
