Next Level Monochrome MFPs Launched

One global document solutions provider has introduced a new series of monochrome MFPs claiming to raise the bar for low-volume monochrome MFPs.

According to Kyocera, the ECOSYS M2640idw series of printers include four models: M2640idw, M2540dw, M2040dn and M2635dw. All models can offer print resolution and color scanning capabilities up to 1200 dpi and a printing speed of 42 ppm. They are equipped with dual document-scanning processors, an intuitive 4.3-inch color touch-screen and are able to use HyPAS for running many business applications.

Further, the new printer series can use Apple AirPrint®, Google Cloud Print™ and Kyocera Mobile Print and with WiFi direct. The range also supports a cloud-based monitoring service of Kyocera—KYOC Kyocera ERA Fleet Services (KFS). This service enables authorized dealers to handle multiple maintenance tasks for customers without frequent on-site visits.
