New Toners Released for Lexmark and Xerox Printer Cartridges

New toners are available for those who wish to remanufacture monochrome and color cartridges for Lexmark and Xerox printers.
Components and consumables manufacturer, UniNet Imaging, Inc. (Hawthorne, CA), say they have new, general produced formulas that maintain the page yields of a dedicated toner.

UniNet recommends its Absolute Color® toner formula and components for use in Lexmark C/X792 printer series. The Lexmark C792 is a high end, professional quality color printer targeted at medium to large workgroups. Rated at 50 ppm and with a wide variety of options (duplexing, stapling, hole punch), this is no typical office printer. Toner cartridges are presented in high yield versions rated at 20,000 pages and standard versions rated at 6,000 pages. The all-in-one designed cartridge is similar to earlier Lexmark color C700 series cartridges.

UniNet has also launched Absolute Color® toner and components for use in Xerox Phaser 6020, 6022, 6010, WorkCentre 6027, 6025, 6015 color printer series. Toner cartridges are rated at 2,000 pages for the black and 1,000 pages for the colors. UniNet explained to RT Media the Xerox cartridges are small and remanufacturers only need to replace the toner and the chip.

A new multipurpose Absolute Black® toner has also been launched by UniNet to work in the Lexmark T640, T630, T620 and T520 monochrome printer series families. This toner formulation is qualified to work in more than 100 engines. UniNet claim the multipurpose toners (MPT-T640-AB) for use in Lexmark T640, are new, general-purpose produced toner formulas, which provide outstanding print quality, and have the highest density in the market. This formulation also maintains the page yields of a dedicated toner. This formula features a very low cost per page and AMES certification. It is qualified with all OEM and UniNet components and offers remanufacturers the flexibility of carrying less inventory and fewer number of SKUs. Uninet say, when used in combination with UniNet drums, these matched systems offer remanufacturers a high quality option at a competitive price.
