New Replacement Inks Are Available for HP Cartridges

American Ink Jet Corporation (AIJ), an independent developer and manufacturer of ink jet inks, has launched 100% pigment-based inks for use in HP 970 & 971 cartridges designed for HP’s Officejet Pro X Series printers.

The company asserted the replacement inks are made of high purity water and high quality pigment dispersions through a proprietary sub-micron filtration and purification process. As a result, the inks are in compliance with OEM standards, in terms of color accuracy and balance, optical density, edge acuity, intercolor bleed and dry time. Moreover, extensive compatibility, throughput and latency testing have been completed to make sure the new inks are reliable and problem free.

The specifications of the inks are shown as follows:

American Ink Jet notes that their inks are specially designed to be used in HP 970/971 and 970XL/971XL ink cartridges for HP’s new Pagewide Printhead printers, including HP Officejet Pro X451dn, Pro X476dn, Pro X551dw and Pro X576dw. These are some of the world’s fastest ink jet printers with speeds up to 70 ppm.
