New Million Dollar Hub Provides Hands On Experiences

As part of it’s ambitious strategy in Southeast Asia, Canon has spent millions of dollars to provide a one-stop-shop experience for its customers in Singapore.

The company has allegedly invested SG$20million (US$14.1 million) to build its Canon Delight Hub at its new premises in Galaxis, a 17-storey business park which boasts being Singapore’s premier research hub, which also hosts the world’s leading companies involved in media, science and engineering research.

Canon Singapore claims its new integrated customer engagement hub will bring together all of Canon’s businesses—from consumer imaging to business solutions—all in the one location.

The enhanced Customer Care Center will permit customers to try out the latest Canon products. The improved testing and interactive facilities include a 30m darkroom, which is supposed to be one of the longest darkrooms for lens testing in the region. A new Canon Imaging Academy is also included, with wider training facilities, such as a training studio for both budding and professional photographers.

Mr. Kensaku Konishi, President and CEO, Canon Singapore said, “We continually seek to invest in this region to increase our capabilities and footprint in line with the tremendous growth we expect from the South and Southeast Asia region.”
