New Marketing Chief Joins Office Depot

Office Depot has named Jerri DeVard as EVP and Chief Marketing Officer.

DeVard holds more than 30 years of experience in the field, having previously led the marketing team for security company The ADT Corporation. Prior to ADT, she worked for well-known organisations including Nokia, Verizon and Citigroup. She currently serves on the board of directors for Under Armour and Cars.com.

At Depot she will oversee its brand positioning, and will be responsible for driving the growth and implementation of strategic marketing activities that build brand equity and increase market share.

Office Depot CEO Gerry Smith commented: “[DeVard’s] leadership and fresh perspective will be instrumental in driving a more integrated omnichannel marketing approach.”
