New Canon Paper Distributor for the UK

An independent British paper supplier has become Canon’s new distributor of paper.

As reported by printweek.com, Elliot Baxter (EBB), which is based in Hampshire, has been at the negotiation table with Canon for almost six months over its partnership to distribute Canon’s paper.

Under the new agreement, EBB will distribute Canon’s Yellow, Black and Red Label papers throughout the UK. EBB will do so from nine strategically sited warehouses in Britain to ensure a next day delivery service.

Chris Sandwell, the sales and marketing director of EBB said, “We don’t have an OEM product within our portfolio and in the cut-size market there are a lot of OEM brands sold in the UK. We wanted to have an OEM brand of our own and felt Canon was a fantastic fit for us, it really complements our existing portfolio.”

Sandwell also revealed EBB expects to be able to deliver a Canon color digital product in the second half of 2017.
