Million Dollar Industry Deal Signed with Alibaba

Alibaba has signed a deal with print consumables giant Print-Rite that will make it easier for customers to order and receive supplies.

The deal, signed in Zhuhai, China, is a first for the print consumables industry. Alibaba will provide Print-Rite’s customers with an easy-to-use platform that helps them find the supplies they need to sell on to consumers.

“It’s a B to B to C e-commerce solution,” Founding Chairman Arnald Ho declared. He explained the huge database on Alibaba, serviced by Print-Rite and its sales subsidiary UTEC, includes average retail prices supplied by Alibaba. Buyers will have easy access to market intelligence when it comes to what consumers are paying for each product.

Further, Alibaba is providing storage and delivery logistics in key global locations to make it quicker for dealers to receive the goods.

“[And] Alibaba will offer the local delivery service.  It will be very easy for our international customers to expand their business,” Ho added.

The deal attracted a huge media contingent at the RemaxWorld Expo in Zhuhai. Representatives from Alibaba, Print-Rite and, formally signed the deal in front of thousands of show attendees. The media will broadcast and print news of the deal in all major news outlets throughout China.
