Lexmark Found Decline in Revenue in 1Q2015

Lexmark reported its GAAP revenue registered US$852 million and a profit margin was 38.7% in the first quarter of 2015 (1Q2015).
As reported, the OEM’s non-GAAP revenue was US$855 million in 1Q2015, decreasing from US$881 million in 2014. The gross profit margin registered 40.5%, dropping from 41% in 2014.

Lexmark’s imaging solutions and services in 1Q2015 marked US$766 million in revenue, dropping 6% year-on-year (YOY), while its MPS business registered US$185 million in revenue, increasing 3% YOY. Non-MPS revenue decreased 6% YOY to US$533 million. Inkjet segment revenue decreased 34% to US$48 million, while enterprise software revenue grew 40% YOY to US$90 million. Higher value solutions revenue, which represented 32% of total revenue, increased 13% YOY.

Further, Lexmark predicts the whole core revenue will experience slight YOY decline in 2015 and the total revenue will decrease 3%-5% YOY.
