New corporate sales manager at Kyocera SA

Kyocera Document Management Solutions South Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of Warren James Lock to the position of Corporate Sales Manager at the company’s South African headquarters.

Lock holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and Business Management from Oxford University, and started his sales career in document management solutions at Nashua in 2000. From there, he moved to Bytes/Xerox headquarters in Johannesburg as a Product Marketing Manager. In January of 2012, he moved to Canon South Africa, holding various positions in marketing and sales, before being promoted to Sales Management in 2015.

Career highlights include representing some of the biggest global brands in the document solutions space, and being a consistent performer who contributed to growing market shares and revenues in all the various roles he has performed over a 17-year period.

2015 saw a turning point in his career, when Lock moved from a marketing role back to sales and sales management. He says it re-energised him in unexpected ways, and helped him rediscover why he enjoys technology, customer interaction, the local industry and its uniqueness so much. The move to Kyocera Document Management Solutions South Africa is a natural fit for his enthusiasm and skills. These encompass relationship-building, people skills, excellent collaboration and planning capabilities, deep ICT knowledge, and extensive experience with traditional marketing.

Lock assumes his new role immediately. Kyocera Document Management Solutions South Africa welcomes him to the Kyocera family, and looks forward to doing great things collaboratively in the coming years.
