Kyocera Intros TASKalfa 406ci Printer Series

Kyocera Document Solutions America has released the TASKalfa 406ci multifunctional printer (MFP) series, including the TASKalfa 406ci (42 pages per minute [ppm] color/42 ppm black); the TASKalfa 356ci (37 ppm color/37 ppm black) and the TASKalfa 306ci (32 ppm color/32 ppm black).

The OEM noted that “the TASKalfa 406ci series is the latest TASKalfa MFP series with the Tiered Color System capability, putting customers in control of color costs by paying for the actual color used”.

Marlene Orr, Director for Office Equipment Product Analysis at Buyers Laboratory, LLC, commented, “The TASKalfa 406ci series offers the robust functionality of an A3 MFP in a more compact A4 footprint—and at a much lower price than A3 MFPs in this speed range. Compared to A4 MFPs, the TASKalfa 406ci series includes more advanced finishing, strong scanning and enhanced ease of use, thanks to a shared UI design across the KYOCERA product line.” Some TASKalfa 406ci series features are shown as follows:

• Banner printing through the multi-purpose tray (TASKalfa 406ci/356ci);

According to Kyocera, the TASKalfa 406ci series is available through authorized Kyocera dealers at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $7,505 for the TASKalfa 406ci, $6,757 for the TASKalfa 356ci and $4,552 for the TASKalfa 306ci.
