Canon Middle East Eyeing African Market

Canon is now strengthening its presence in Africa with its range of business solutions.

To show its commitment to Africa’s printing industry and to highlight the value it can offer to customers, Canon has taken part in Siagra Africa 2015 held in Morocco. The event is a four-day exposition dedicated to the graphic arts and packaging industries.

Despite the stagnant or declining economies in developed countries, Africa remains a growing market. Emerging economies in the region are seeking opportunities to utilize the competitive advantage provided by big companies like Canon.

Hendrik Verbrugghe, Marketing Director, Canon Middle East, said, “Africa is a key market for Canon. SIAGRA was a fantastic opportunity for us to not only meet with customers and partners but also give visitors insight into the incredible new solutions that are currently being developed by our R&D teams across the globe.”

“Canon’s ambition is to be the leading full service provider in the professional and production printing space, across Africa and the world. Canon will invest the necessary resources to enable our growing number of African customers to take full advantage of our innovations in hardware, software and professional services,” added Hendrik.
