Kyocera A4 Color MFPs Win Good Design Award 2015

Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. (Kyocera) has announced that its new A4 color multifunctional products (MFPs) have been granted the Good Design Award 2015 by the Japan Institute for Design Promotion (JDP), a public interest incorporated foundation. The awarded products include the TASKalfa 406ci (40ppm) and TASKalfa 356ci (35ppm), launched in different countries at the end of January 2016.

Recipients of a Good Design Award are granted use of the G Mark symbol, an emblem of good design for more than half a century.

Developed for medium and large workgroups in mid-sized to larger enterprises, the TASKalfa 406ci and the TASKalfa 356ci feature a reliable/durable design and offer various optional components such as paper feeders and document finishers. The MFPs have the same capability as KYOCERA’s A3 TASKalfa MFP series with HyPASTM, a KYOCERA-developed software platform to enhance the promotion of information sharing and the streamlining of document workflow. Besides this, TASKalfa features a modern, easy-to-understand and easy-to-use design. Hence, the JDP review committee highly commended the TASKalfa 406ci and TASKalfa 356ci MFPs for delivering superior value based on the viewpoint of the user’s convenience.
