Konica Minolta Releases New MFPs

Konica Minolta is targeting small and mid-sized offices in South Africa with three new cost efficient multifunction printers (MFPs).

It is claimed the new products—the bizhub 367, bizhub 287and bizhub 227—can easily tackle diverse work styles, including standard Web browser and Open API support to connect to specialized applications and easy access to mobile connectivity.

The featured mobile connectivity supports a wide range of devices, including smartphones and tablets that are NFC (Near Field Communication) capable.

The bizhub 367 can run at a speed of 36ppm, with newly added functions such as a mobile connectivity area built into the control panel, alongside the Open API solution platform, full panel customisation, and support for NFC.

The bizhub 287and bizhub 227 are said to be exceptionally cost efficient, with printing speeds of 28 ppm and 22 ppm respectively. To differentiate from other products, both MFPs feature eco-friendly attributes, such as low energy consumption, use of recycled materials in the manufacturing of the machine, and Energy Star and EPEAT certifications.

Greg Griffith, product manager of business solutions at Konica Minolta South Africa, said, “With these new product launches, Konica Minolta continues its legacy of developing great efficient and energy saving multi-functional products with a special focus on mobile printing – products that offer a new level of efficiency and flexibility. Konica Minolta continues to demonstrate its commitment to provide new tools that will empower our clients and optimize their workflow, all packaged within award-winning designs.”
