Integral Acquires Italian Toner Producer Baltea

Kerken, Germany-based Integral has acquired the assets of Italian toner producer Baltea, srl. Baltea was the toner manufacturing arm of Olivetti, a leading information technology OEM.

To keep the legacy alive, Integral will advance the technology of conventional mechanically-produced (CMT) and rounded color toners developed by Baltea. The company claims that toners produced through this technology are on the same level as chemically-produced toner (CPT) with regards to form and performance characteristics. Furthermore, its production process significantly lowers the environmental impact of the operation while  reducing production costs.

At the same time, Integral announced that two of its production lines for monochrome toner are for sale: one, a Kawasaki Heavy Industry line from Japan and the other an Alpine line from Germany.
