Indian Toners and Developers Reports Higher Sales, Lower Profits in 1Q2013

Toner manufacturer, Indian Toners and Developers Limited (ITDL), reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2013, showing a net loss of Rs 0.09 crore (Rs 0.9 million), or $15,907 USD for 1Q2013, compared to a net profit of Rs 1.21 crore (Rs 12.1 million), or $214,000 USD for 1Q2012.

Sales totaled Rs 7.60 crore (Rs 76 million) or $1.34 million USD for the first quarter of 2013, a 3.97% increase compared to sales of Rs 7.31 crore (Rs 73.1 million) or $1.29 million USD in the same quarter one year ago.

For the audited full year ended March 2013, ITDL’s net profit was Rs 2.30 crore (Rs 23 million) or $407,000 USD, down 13.86% compared to a net profit of Rs 2.67 crore (Rs 26.7 million) or $472,000 for the year ended in March 2012.

Sales for the full year ended in March 2013 were Rs 27.19 crore (Rs 271.9 million) or $4.81 million USD, a 4.42% increase compared to sales of Rs 26.04 crore (Rs 260.4 million) or $4.60 million USD for the previous year.
