Epson Malaysia Launches New Ecotank Printer Series

Epson Malaysia has introduced a new generation of EcoTank ink tank printers in the Malaysian market, expanding its lineup with models designed for home users and small businesses while offering a five-year warranty across the range.

The company said the new series builds on global cumulative sales of more than 100 million EcoTank printers since the technology was introduced in 2010. According to Epson, the latest generation incorporates improvements in durability, usability, connectivity, and a more compact design to enhance productivity and reduce the total cost of ownership.

The new lineup includes the EcoTank L5390, L3356, L3350, L3316, L3310, and L1310 models. Epson said the printers use 65ml high-capacity CMYK dye ink bottles capable of producing up to 4,700 black-and-white pages and up to 7,500 color pages per refill. Selected models feature a replaceable Maintenance Box and are covered for printing up to 50,000 pages under warranty.

The printers also feature a redesigned chassis with integrated ink tanks and a smaller footprint than previous generations. Epson said the expanded paper tray and revised paper feeding mechanism are intended to improve paper handling, while its Heat-Free Technology is designed to reduce power consumption.

Connectivity and functionality vary across the lineup. The L5390, L3356, and L3350 support the Epson Smart Panel mobile application, enabling users to configure printers, scan documents, and combine multiple scanned pages into a single PDF. These models also support wireless printing technologies including AirPrint and Mopria. The L5390 additionally offers automatic document feeding and multifunction capabilities, including printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. Entry-level models such as the L1310 provide USB 2.0 connectivity for basic printing functions.

Epson also launched its “Print Without Worry” campaign alongside the new product range, highlighting the five-year warranty as part of its commitment to product durability and customer support.

The new EcoTank printer series is now available through Epson Malaysia’s official sales channels and authorized dealers.
