Indian Toner Manufacturer to Further Enhance Production Capacity
Indian Toners & Developers Ltd. (ITDL), India’s largest manufacturer and exporter of aftermarket toners, announced its plan to enhance its annual production capacity to 3,000 metric tons by setting up a new plant in Sitargunj, Uttarakhand, northern India.
The company says the German-originated plant will be located at its subsidiary ITDL Imagetec Ltd’s facility, with a production capacity of 600 tons per year. With the new plant, ITDL Imagetec Ltd’s capacity will go up from 1,200 tons to 1,800 tons annually.
Mono and dual component mechanically-produced toners will be produced at the plant. The new manufacturing facility is estimated to achieve completion by December 2014 and begin operation by February 2015.
