HP Thailand Expands in Indochina

HP Inc. (Thailand) plans to expand in the Indochina market, namely Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos, utilizing Thailand as a digital hub to cover the high-potential market. The company also initiated a “device as a service” (DaaS) policy to cover small and medium-sized enterprises and the commercial market.
Pavin Vorapruck, managing director of HP Inc. (Thailand), revealed that the move started early this year. As the digital hub of the Indochina market, the Thai unit will offer marketing, consultancy and products.
Pavin said, “I think the Indochina market has high potential for growth, since the three countries also have high GDP growth and are new markets that have the potential to expand and leverage the market.”
As was revealed, HP Thailand will divide its operation into three business units. The computing business unit will provide desktop computers and notebooks, the second unit will provide printers, and a graphics solutions business (GSB) will provide digital printing.
