HP Set Up New Office in Korea

hp,korea,relocateHP is relocating its office in Korea to Gyeonggi Province after its planned acquisition of the Samsung Electronics’s printer business division.

HP’s Chief Operating Officer Jon Flaxman has signed a contract with Nam Kyung, the Governor of Gyeonggi Province about locating its new office in Geyeonggi.

HP plans to decide the exact location of the office within a year and start to operate by 2019. This new office would be set up for the R&D in printers and other product production.

Since HP announced its plan to acquire Samsung’s printer business division for $1.05 billion last year. RT media reported the Samsung unit has since changed its name to S-Printing Solution.

HP plans to sell its inkjet printer products under the Samsung brand name in Korea.
