Global CEO Responds to Bankruptcy Reports

Following reports Cartridge World Germany had filed for bankruptcy, the Global CEO of the franchise says “It’s a procedural matter and will not impact Cartridge World in any way.”

Rod Young (pictured) told RT Media that his network of franchise stores and franchisees in Germany was restructured many months ago.

“You may have read that “Cartridge World Germany” has filed for bankruptcy,” he explained. “This is the shell of the company that held the CW Master Franchise for Germany until the Master Franchise Agreement was terminated on amicable terms early this year.”

Young went on to explain Cartridge World had already taken direct control of the German market many months ago and implementing a new CW B2B business model there.

“This wind up of the former Master Franchisee company is a procedural matter and will not impact Cartridge World in any way,” he added.
