FujiFilm Swaps New Printers for Old rtmworldFujifilm has announced an exchange offer in which a customer can get the Fujifilm DE-100 at a discount of Rs 10,000 (US$133.65) in exchange of old branded photo printer. This offer is valid until 30 September and is applicable across India.

Since its inception in 2016, the Frontier DE100 has proven to be a revolutionary printer for achieving high-quality prints through a combination of its powerful ink and a high-resolution inkjet head. Its flexible system configuration supports a wide-ranging variety of print products to satisfy an extensive range of digital photography printing opportunities.

Centhil Nathan, senior vice-president, Photo Imaging Division, Fujifilm India, said, “The product has been seeing a good response because of its high-quality prints with sharpness and minimal granular feel. With the capability to produce various value-added prints, this puts us one step ahead of our competition in terms of the whole ecosystem available. Thereby, looking at its decent performance and response from the market since its inception made us bring forth this offer for our valuable patrons.”

For over 85 years, Fujifilm has continuously evolved and moved with the changes in technology from the analog to digital. At its core, the company has constantly looked at how to reproduce colours.

“This inkjet printer has also proved to be another cutting edge innovation for the brand as DE100 achieves superior images to that of previous compact inkjet printers with its combination of ViViDiA D-photo, a four-color ink originally developed by Fujifilm, inkjet head realising resolutions of 1200×1200-dpi, dedicated inkjet paper, and image-processing technology Image Intelligence,” he added.

The product is also compact and lightweight, making it suitable for installation in shops with limited space. In addition, DE100 can handle a diverse range of print sizes and three different types of surface such as glossy, lustre and silk, each of which provides a different feel to the photos to meet customers’ needs.
