French Company Expands in Canada
To better support its Canadian partners and clients, France-based company ARMOR has planned to open a new subsidiary in Canada.
According to ARMOR, it is the second subsidiary the company set in North America, as well as the eighth international branch for slitting Thermal Transfer ribbons (TTR). With this expansion, ARMOR is expected to become the largest roll producer on Canadian market. The official opening of ARMOR Canada will occur on July 3rd.
ARMOR claims that the new premises will be located in Toronto, covering a space of 1,800m². It will be equipped with 2 semi-automatic slitting machines, with 15,000 roll configurations available. Meanwhile, it will provide an initial stock of 60 items so as to cover most needs of the Canadian market. Armor plans to employ 15 staff for this subsidiary.
Canada is not a new market for ARMOR, it has been covered by ARMOR USA for a long time. Recently, local and experienced sales manager, Barry Bowsher, has been running operations for this region.
