First Japanese OEM to Receive President’s Award

Ricoh Asia Pacific has won Singapore’s highest honor—The President’s Award for the Environment 2016.

According to the OEM, it is the first Japanese multinational company in the office imaging  industry to receive the award. The honor is given to the organization which has made significant contributions towards the environment and water resources sustainability in Singapore.

“As a Group effort, Ricoh’s sustainable environmental management began as early as 1970s to engage and balance the environmental conservation activities with business sustainability,” stated Mr. Kazuhisa Goto, Managing Director of Ricoh Asia Pacific and China. “We are very positive of what we have achieved so far and we look forward for even more sustainability plans ahead that will continue to bring value to people and the society.”
