Epson to Introduce T3200-U3-2 Inkjet Printhead

Epson announced that it will release the T3200-U3-2 inkjet printhead in early April 2026 as a new addition to its PrecisionCore lineup. The new model is designed to address rising demand across commercial and industrial digital printing applications.

The T3200-U3-2 incorporates a revised structural design that enables ink heating at temperatures of up to 50°C—higher than the previous T3200-U3 model. This enhancement supports stable ink ejection while improving reliability and durability when used with a broader range of UV inks. Expanded viscosity compatibility also extends the potential application range in commercial and industrial environments.

Demand for digital printing solutions continues to grow across these sectors, leading to increasingly diverse application requirements. Since its introduction in July 2021, the T3200-U3 has been widely adopted, particularly in signage printers. The T3200-U3-2 builds on the established performance of its predecessor while enabling stable ejection of higher-viscosity UV inks through its increased heating capability.

The new model maintains the same external dimensions, electronic interface, and ejection performance characteristics as the T3200-U3, allowing for straightforward integration and replacement.

Epson stated that it will continue expanding and strengthening its PrecisionCore printhead portfolio to meet evolving customer needs and support further development of digital printing technologies in commercial and industrial markets.
