Epson Launches M-Series Monochrome Inkjet Printers

Aiming to achieve a 25 per cent revenue growth in the current fiscal, digital imaging company Epson on Wednesday announced the launch of M-series range of economical mono ink tank inkjet printers.

“We are looking at a revenue growth of about 20-25 per cent this fiscal, and the launch of M-series printers will help us achieve this,” Epson India Deputy General Manager, Consumer Product Group, S M Ramprasad told reporters on the sidelines of the event here.

The colour ink tank system printers launched earlier have been hugely successful and well accepted by consumers and have contributed to the company’s revenue growth, he added.

Epson’s turnover in 2012-13 was around Rs 703 crore. The contribution from consumer product group to the revenue stood at 49 per cent, while from business product group was around 51 per cent, Ramprasad further said.

The newly launched M-series range of monochrome inkjet printers are for corporates who primarily print black and white documents and who demand the lowest running costs possible along with crisp print quality, Epson in a release said.
