Epson Intros Two Wireless Printers in Kenya

Epson released two printers in the Kenyan market, the Epson L355 and Epson L550. Both models enable wireless printing from tablets and smartphones without drivers.

According to Epson, both printers have an email and iPrint capability and enable mobile devices on the Android and iOS platforms to send instructions. They can print documents no larger than 10MB. Epson iPrint application needs to be downloaded and connected to the printer through WiFi. And wireless scanning and emailing are also available with Epson Connect.

Mukesh Bector, Epson’s Regional Sales Manager for East Africa, said, “The increased use of smartphones and tablets as the main gadgets to access the Internet, the increased apps that allow the creation of documents and the use of the phone as a camera has led to Epson creating such solutions and products.”

“We created Epson Connect,” Bector added, “for the reasons that include,  to support all devices, allow access to data anytime, print from anywhere, and above all, ease the way people communicate.”
