Distributors Vote for Best OEM

Distributors of printer cartridges in western Europe have voted for the OEM that gives them the best support. Industry analyst group Photizo Group polled the OEM’s channel partners, in each country.

The key six OEMs running managed print services in western Europe are Canon, Hewlett-Packard, Konica Minolta, Lexmark, Ricoh and Xerox. Each distributor was asked to rank the OEMs, on their product range and service, promotional marketing support, training, compensation schemes and flexibility.

In France, Konica Minolta scored the highest followed by Xerox with Lexmark in last place. Ricoh received the highest marks in Germany, followed by HP with Canon taking the wooden spoon. Competition in the UK was fierce but Ricoh came out on top closely followed by Konica Minolta.
