DCS Opens New Central US Distribution Facility

Ann Arbor, Michigan-based Diversified Computer Supplies (DCS) announced the opening of their Plano, TX distribution facility, aimed at enhancing service to regions in the Central United States.

DCS (www.dcsbiz.com) is a North American distributor and manufacturer of imaging supplies with offices in Michigan, Florida, Nevada, Kentucky, Texas and Quebec. It delivers OEM and compatible brands and MPS programs.

According to the company, addition of the Plano facility will expand product availability, reduce shipping costs, and dramatically cut delivery times for this region of the country.

Beginning January 2nd, enhanced ground, next-day service will be available to regions that include: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and parts of Kansas and Louisiana. Second day, ground service will be rendered to regions that include Mississippi and parts of Nebraska. The new Plano distribution center will also offer resellers access to a broad range of imaging products under a single roof with same day, will-call service to customers in the Dallas area.

Diana Hollenshead, DCS’s Vice President of Operations said, “Improving service to our customers is always our top priority. The location of this new Distribution Center will allow us to do just that by reducing delivery time for our products to a very key part of the country. It will also allow us to a secure a more cost-efficient logistics structure to handle the growth of our business.”
